Xiaomi Mix Flip 3 Leaks: Satellite Connectivity, 200MP Camera, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
Update (10/07/25) – JB
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 3 is in an advanced stage of development, and information released this week indicates the device may be even more premium than expected.
This is because a certification published in China made it clear that the foldable phone may feature satellite connectivity support thanks to an improved antenna redesign.
Listed with the number 2603APX0AC, this is supposedly the version with satellite connectivity.
Commenting on the matter, the well-known leaker SmartPikachu also revealed that the Mix Flip 3 may use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform.
For the rear camera setup, the leaker points out that the public will get a “new imaging solution,” and this likely refers to the main camera being upgraded to 200 MP.
According to previously published information, the flip phone will also have a second 50 MP ultrawide lens and a 32 MP front camera.
The battery is expected to grow to 5,500 mAh and support 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, while the operating system will be the new Android 16.
For now, we do not know when the Xiaomi Mix Flip 3 will be launched, but the device is not expected to be sold globally. This is something the brand has also done with some phones from the Xiaomi 17 series.

Xiaomi Mix Flip 3 Rumored with 200 MP Camera, Larger Battery, and More
One day after Xiaomi presented the new members of the Xiaomi 17 series to the world, details about the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Flip 3 were leaked.
According to sources, the smartphone will maintain its dual-camera system on the back but will replace the 50 MP main lens of its predecessor with a powerful 200 MP sensor.
In practice, this would make the Mix Flip 3 one of the first in its category to use such a powerful sensor in its lens setup.
The ultrawide sensor should remain the same as the Mix Flip 2 at 50 MP.
Completing the photographic set of the Xiaomi Mix Flip 3 is the 32 MP front lens, which should be located inside the punch-hole on the internal screen.
Now, when it comes to processing power, the new Xiaomi foldable may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform in variants that can offer up to 12 GB of RAM.
These are the storage options:
- 256 GB
 - 512 GB
 - 1 TB

A significant improvement in the battery is also expected, reaching 5,500 mAh with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Finally, the operating system will be Android 16, running under HyperOS 3.0, but it is important to note that the launch date remains uncertain.
Sources with access to the Chinese company’s plans indicate an announcement by the end of the year, but the company may disappoint the global public with this new device.
