Team Liquid Secures Playoffs Spot in South America League Stage 2 R6 Siege
Team Liquid, a leading international esports organization, has cemented its presence in the Rainbow Six Siege South America League Stage 2 playoffs with a strong result over the weekend. In the final match of the regular season, held this past Sunday, the already-qualified Liquid defeated FURIA 7-2, with Maia earning the MVP of the match.
The squad is competing in the tournament with its new formation, featuring Victor “Daffo” Pedron, formerly of LOUD, in the flex position; Thiago “LENDA” Torres, formerly of Elevate Academy, as IGL; alongside Tassus “Reduct” Issi leading the team, assisted by Moisés “Tiseis” Oliveira. The existing talents of André “Nesk” Oliveira, Lucas “Dias,” and Gabriel “Maia” complete the roster.
Rafael Queiroz, General Manager of Team Liquid Brazil, celebrated the qualification and highlighted the importance of the changes implemented this season. “Our campaign so far shows that the strategy we outlined is working. The team has evolved rapidly and consistently. The playoffs spot was earned with great merit, and now the focus is on maintaining the momentum and fighting for the title.”
Tassus “Reduct” Issi also emphasized the significance of the final win and the early qualification. “Qualifying for the playoffs so early in this new phase is a sign that we are on the right track. The group assimilated the changes well, showed evolution match after match, and, above all, the maturity to handle decisive games. We still have a lot to adjust, but we are confident we can go further.”
The Rainbow Six Siege South America League Stage 2 playoffs matches will take place on October 11, starting at 4 PM BRT. Team Liquid will face FaZe Clan.
